Today one of my favorite places in Copenhagen, Illum department store, has been celebrating 125 years anniversary.
And it has been the first day of the celebration, which was done with a lot of style! Golden balloons and the anniversary cake (with the long queue to the cake, but it was worth it), DJ music and much more. The most patient fashionistas who were queuing many hours before the opening could get great discounts for beautiful products (me and my belly have decided not to take part in it).

At Illum you can find most of the famous world designer brands, and of course the Danish and Scandinavian brands. My absolutely favourite “By Malene Birger” is also represented here. So if you are going to visit Copenhagen, Illum is absolutely the place to spend a day (don’t even plan to spend less)

After the great day, I had a delicious brunch at Maio restaurant at Illum rooftop with the great view over the beautiful roofs of Copenhagen.
